The Five Star Conference is where the mortgage industry unites under one roof. Professionals from all sectors of the industry convene to learn, collaborate, and network with one another. This three-day event is filled with engaging academic labs, keynote presentations, networking events, and the largest exhibition hall in the industry. “The Five Star is for business people to conduct business,” says Hugh Morrow, a FORCE member who has attended the conference for the past three years.
Engaging Academic Labs
Five Star Academic Labs feature leading industry experts discussing topics relevant to daily business. The content for each academic lab is designed to meet the needs of the current market and the professionals serving it. In order to keep attendees at the cutting edge of their field, Five Star Labs cover market fundamentals, current opportunities, and the latest technologies.
The REO lab is particularly aimed at the agent/broker community with updates on the REO market, alternative disposition methods, and the GSEs, as well as a discussion panel of asset managers offering insight into their biggest challenges, future outlooks, and professional partnerships. This year’s speakers include leaders from the GSEs, Wells Fargo, Hudson and Marshall, Altisource, USRES, NoteSchool, Stonecrest, Green River Capital, and more.
Special Events
This year’s lineup of events includes:
Opening Night Reception – an evening of entertainment and networking to kick off the largest industry event of the year.
Keys for Life – a memorable presentation of mortgage-free homes to our nation’s veterans, followed by live entertainment and socializing with industry leaders.
Women in Housing Leadership Forum – an afternoon of inspiring keynotes and conversation promoting inclusion in the industry.
Networking and Exhibition Hall
The Five Star Conference offers unlimited networking opportunities during receptions, at events, and in the Expo Hall throughout the conference. Hundreds of companies from across the country exhibit in the Five Star Expo Hall, where conference attendees gather between labs, during meals, and for individual meetings with new and old connections.
The FORCE Rally
The FORCE Rally is the largest and most anticipated annual gathering of FORCE members and their industry partners. The Rally gives members a chance to learn about current and future market conditions from established subject-matter experts. They also get to hear what asset managers and investors look for in agents and brokers directly from the source.
Following an afternoon of engaging keynotes and panel discussions, FORCE members are invited to network with top asset management and investment firms during the FORCE Rally Power Hour. The Power Hour will be followed by the FORCE Rally After Party, a chance for members and their invited guests to make connections in a relaxed social setting with cocktails and live music.
The 2017 FORCE Rally speakers will include executives from Dakota Asset Services, Fannie Mae, Fay Financial, HUD, RES.NET, Stonecrest, USRES, and Vision Property Management, as well as the president and CEO of the Five Star Institute and members of the FORCE Advisory Council.
